Bummer. Let's hope that 6.9 wasn't the historic peak. Come on people, vote it up, if you haven't done yet. Still it's one of the highest ranked Joe Dante movies on imdb I guess.

The first one is very nostalgic for me, too. I was 14 or 15 years old when it came out. Everybody in our class was talking about it. More or less the first slasher film I ever watched so I didn't get all the references back then. I will definitely watch the new one, too. Haven't seen it yet...
