Summer is around the corner

Found a random '88 calendar on google and Ive added
the text in the boxes. Maybe I should add God I love this
Street on saturday 2nd but I dont know if the movie
Ends after midnight.
 
The weather is getting better and better and you know what that means?

Soon we'll have vacation, barbecues, a couple of hundred bears and an occasional cigar, outside.

I hope you're all doing well :)

Summer has also arrived in Germany and today I have a day off, so let's get the barbecue fixed.

Same here, about to hit grilling season!

One of my neighbors is hosting a "rib-off" in July, so I have to work out a good smoked recipe/process to compete in that.

Maybe I'll throw in some smoked femurs for the neighborhood dogs?!
 
Talking about summer, that calendar proves that the story is set in summer, well it's already implied in the movie given the clothes and some dialogues, but since that calendar appears in a reshoot scene filmed in november 88 after the filming wrapped, it's now a fact.
 
Summer, YES!

It's really hot these days in Sweden, this week will be sweltering, and my Tomatoes are already red, chili plant is coming along well too, it's 2.5m high.

But in true Burbs tradition I'm ofc. up basically at night, I feel like I'm nocturnal or something.

I'm doing something about my yard - for the first time in 3-4 years.

And I've bought new tools, to fix things around the house and yard.
