1989 - and its light-hearted comedies

I just noticed that 1989 seems to be a year full of great light-hearted, sometimes silly but still amusing comedy movies. Let's try to compile a list of them:

- The Burbs (No surprise, right?)

- Look who's talking

- Christmas Vacation

- Turner & Hooch

- Honey I shrunk the kids

- K-9

- Who's Harry Crumb?
 
I just watched Turner & Hooch two days ago here in German TV. Very amusing and highly rewatchable.

I love the line in Turner and Hootch where the neighbor says "shut him up" and Tom says "i'm a police officer...you want your car towed!?" Cracks me up the way Tom delivers that line.

I already said it and I'll say it again: Tom Hanks + goofy 80's comedies = the perfect combination

I up to the lake. I just needed to get away and I didn't want to sit around the house. As for my other half, he will no longer be my other half as of April 21st, that is when our divorce will be final. I do not want to go into details, but trust me things are better this way!
