Okay, some older members will probably know about these but two things I noticed years back.

One. When Art says "Listen to your wife?" he bangs the light and it swings. Keep watching it...as it slows someone makes it swing again.

Two. Check out when THA DOKTAH is coming up the stairs...'away' from a light he 'should' cast a smaller shadow...but it actually gets bigger...that's clever...but then that's to big him up as a monster emerging from the cellar - then the flute sounds and the little psycho appears.

That's the other thing I noticed when I watched it last night!! Art hits his head when they are talking in the basement. Thanks for reminding me. You notice lots of new things the 100th time you watch it.

And the second thing, I always acknowledged that about the shadow, but never went anywhere with it. To much thinking for me.

Yeah, when I first saw the movie I wondered what the hell was coming out of the cellar and imagined Werner to be some huge broad-shouldered Jason Vorhees lookalike. Then he steps around the corner and the image is totally destroyed.

It's kinda cartoonish the way they did that shadow. Love it!

I love it too,plus it's a great lead up to...Pardon my glove... :D

the only reason i can find for that shadow thing to actually work, would be that the light is not coming from the basement, but from right up around the door. so that his shadow actually does get bigger, it's because the light is from somewhere around the door.

but idk. hahaha.

Hey Art this ones for you. Maybe *crunch* LOL.
