Can anyone find a quote from the movie that isn't funny? It can't just be a segment of dialog like "the" or "of." It needs to be a proper quote of 2 words or more (Example: "Oh, Ray!" - but that's funny).

Regardless of the quote, I feel like I find humor in it and I'm just wondering if there's a quote that really isn't funny.

How about Ray asking Carol "I wonder what was going on over ther last night?"
I didn't laugh at that but it was a set up for another laugh.

Actually - you're right, that worked. Huh, whenever I quote the movie with friends it seems that any line is funny when said in the real world but apparently there are exceptions.

Honey? I'll just find out what hospital they're taking you to and then I'll... Follow right along. Okay?

Not funny (and not meant to be funny so that's no problem)

It cant be done.

See - now both of these put a smile on my face. Not funny in the movie but outside the movie I find them funny. The first because of the ridiculousness of all discussion about the "cottage." The second because I picture the ridiculousness of Carol trying to carry on a conversation with Ray while he's all messed up on the gurny.

Hm, OK, so this is a tougher challenge than I thought it might be.

What about this:

"Morning Walter!"

Nope. Love it, makes me laugh.

Yeah that makes me laugh too... the cheerfulness yet total ineffectualness of it from Ray...and the total ignorance of Walter LOL
