Ever written a book? A story? Got it published?

I wrote aa Christmas story for my daughter. Took 2 years to write it. I have it bound in four copies. I might send it to a publisher one day...then again...

Yes, I'm writing short stories. Most of them are Horror, some are Adventure and some are over-the-top action stories (like a written form of Lethal Weapon or Bad Boys). Remember that Highway scene from Bad Boys 2 with the cars flying from the truck and whirling over the highway? I published a scene like that 6 months before the official Bad Boys 2 release in my story "Adventure Joe and the Lance of Golgatha".

Anway, they are actually not for the faint-hearted. For Christmas lovers like Art I wouldn't recommend to read my "Silent Night - Bloody Night" - Trilogy. :omg:

LOL

Silent Night...is that a bit like Black Christmas?

Dr Klopek, I agree.
I can recommend a great Christmas book. It's my favourite and it's called Lanterns Across The Snow by Susan Hill. I love it. And Christmas Watching by Desmond Morris is very interesting. It's not a story though, it's all about why we do what we do at Christmas. It's cool.

Art, Thanks for the info on the 2 books, I'll check those out.
There is one book I read about in the newspaper and would also like to get it. Santa Diaries by Ed Butchart.

Is this the one?

I wrote a fantasy novel, but haven't figured out how to get it published. May not be good enough to be published but thought, what the heck. It was something I always wanted to do.

Can you give a brief summary of your novel?

I wrote a fantasy novel once, too but I never completed it. It was following the old SNES RPG's and was similar to things like "Secret of Mana", "Chrono Trigger", "The Legend of Zelda" and so on. One day it became so comprehensive and complex that I wasn't able to follow the storylines anymore like I wanted to and I stopped writing.
