Ever notice what a LOUD *splat* sound Art's gum makes when it hits the sidewalk after just a casual toss? I always thought that was hilarious. I've tried to duplicate that sound with my own gum many times but to no avail...

Yeah, it makes a slight "tick?" sound and that is if you hit the pavement with it. Maybe he was chewing about 12 pieces. That would be Artlike.

And when they're in Walter's house, after Art says, "What's the difference, this stuff will end up in a flea market sooner or later anyway." And sets whatever he was holding, down. It makes a weird, loud, sort of double clickity sound.

What was that??

If it was 12 pieces, it should be a huge wad...but it was tiny little piece..I think..Ah heck I need to watch it again.

Yeah, it was small. It would have been funnier if it had been a huge wad - not that the Burbs could have been any funnier. I take it back. I don't know what I was thinking.
