I just wanted to remind all you neighbors that 'Burbs day 2013 is coming soon. On Sunday 14/7 2013 it's time to celebrate one of the best days of the year. I will make my yearly 'Burbs barbeque and if any of you are in the neighborhood feel free to join!

The Burbs day is probably invented by someone on this forum, don't remember who, but that's besides the point.

The entire point with the Burbs day - is to celebrate the movie "The Burbs" with your friends, fans of the Burbs...family....invite anyone fresh to a viewing of The Burbs...and new fans are born :)

I was in Astoria this year (IN USA/Oregon) celebrating the official Goonies day of Astoria 7th of June), we where 125 people shaking it Truffle-shuffle style there.


(And for the long time forum members, curious how JoOngle looks? - you can see me in the video above, 35-36 sek in the film snippet I'm the one with the Brown jacket/black pants filming in the background) :D

What can I say...the guy obviously took an extended vacation.

You didnt send me an address. And you sent me your way too late invite at 16.00 (thats 4 o clock in the afternoon) and on a Sunday, there is no way I can reach your part of the country in just a few hours...shame on you...you're just a wannabee...shame on ya...shame.

The burbs day is a big deal - otherwise you wouldn´t post a post about celebrating the burbs day, eh? ;) No worries...

Hope you all had a great Burbs Day 2013. JoOngle, I really like the passion of these Goonies fans in Oregon. Does this take place every year?
