Burbs on Blu-ray?

So with Universal celebrating it's 100th anniversary this year with all sorts of restored films from their backcatalog, I got to thinking that perhaps this is the year we see The 'burbs on Blu-ray. Just wondering if any of my neighbors have heard anything...as in something other than the transformer next door.

man this needs to happen and fast!!!!!! i tried to watch burbs on my new led screen last night dvd doesn't do it justice any more.......... i also hope when they do it the also ad the infamous bbq scene and maybe a few other cut scenes that we dont know about.

I agree. These scenes that we can even see in the normal trailer are still out there somewhere. Why not just including them on some new Blue Ray?
