Does anyone know whether The 'burbs has ever been referenced in any other films or TV shows?

I've been looking for this for years now but haven't found anything yet. In the actual movie you can see some references to other movies but I'm not sure If other movies have some references to TB.

I'll be looking for it more then ever and hopefully we can find something.

Art's got a Gun is the name of a music group but that's as close as we can get as of right now.

Yeah Ray that's the references TB makes to other movies, but we're looking for it the other way around.

Movies that mention The 'Burbs.

We have a thread about quotes used in other movies such as "That really burns my ass":)

Yeah, it's right in my link:

Referenced in
Stephen Kings Nachtschicht (1990)
Paper Thin (1999)
The Buck Rules (2007)
 - It is a film the protagonist worships and he dreams of a sequel.
John's Arm: Armageddon (2008)
 - The brainwashed people at the end chant "The Nadir is good, the Nadir is our pal."
Face Eater (2008)
 - The close up of the dog's eyes during the western gunfight is a reference to The 'burbs.

Not much, but it's at least a little bit.

Has anyone here seen Paper Thin? I've been looking for it for ages.

No one on the block has. But it seems to be interesting. The story line reads like "The Burbs". It could be very similar. But in imdb there are absolutely no reviews or user comments.

Could this be useful?
