It's been said that her role in The 'Burbs did not do her talent justice. But at the same time, she played Carol beautifully... and truth be told, I've always thought she was cute in Star Wars as well as this movie. Lol anyone else here have a crush on her or someone else in the movie?
 
I was always happy with her performance in "The Burbs".

Imagine all the other actors being allowed to fool around and play weird and crazy characters and you're the only one who has to play a rational suburbian housewife. That's tough!
 
Yeah Carrie was just what was needed. Given her horrendous drugs problems over the years I think she did well. Good in the Blues Brothers too.
