Cheesy 80's commercials

In order to come back to the 80's commercials:

Here it is, THE (!) classic Coca Cola ad which
aired all over the world back in the late 80's (it's a little silent):

There's so much fun, hilarity and joy of living in this commercial, I don't care if it is cheesy or not.

Nowadays, and I don't know why this is the case, it is absolutely impossible to see ads like that. Not with this kind of music, not with these kind of images. Sad.

Walter, I have your dog.
I have to say...that is a super cheesy 80's commercial. haha

Hey, ever go to McDonald's, and think "Gee I forgot to shave this morning..too bad McDonald's doesn't have free razors with every purchase of a hot breakfast."...WELL you cutters would love this!

speaking of coke-commercials, this is one from Norway (a few years back).

the song is mainly about how coke is like, you can get it in all sizes and shapes, you can drink it everywhere etc.. "for the adults, for the kids, for the singles, for the lovers" etc haha :D a very catchy song, and it was broadcast around late spring i think, so everyone was in a good mood and kept singing it.. lol! now it's history of course.

OH and i think the song is actually danish or something. we just "borrowed" it (hehe) and made it norwegian of course :)

"no..no it's my note."
Me and my sister just found this one.

It's a little dirty..hehe

Maybe it's just me, but i can never stand how they show people so hyped up and jubilant over soda, potato chips,,etc. There must be something pretty special in the drink..
The Gilette / McDonalds commercial is very funny. So he's going there each and every day in order to have the unique opportunity to shave himself? Alright...

The thing you mentioned about being hyped up over sweets and fat: that's the other side of the coin. It conveys the wrong impression of being in a good mood once the sugar is floating through your body.

For example this commercial:

First I thought, this was a funny commercial but then I thought that unhealthy fast food should not be offered to children / pupils like that. "Problems in school? We all have them. So let's have a burger and a coke and everything will be alright."

Dan, you ever seen the original Flight Of The Phoenix? Ive seen it a billion times...funny thing, Ive been in bed all day today (first illness in 2 years) and watched it in bed on DVD. Love that movie.

I have never seen the original (with Jimmy Stewart). I didn't even know it existed until you mentioned it. I will have to check it out.

Or their lives are so pathetic that a new potato chip is earthshattering.

hahahaha yeah I know. If he's going their every (ALLL)day, he'll have a few chins to style. ;)

Oh that McDonald's school kids ad...oh my..hahahaha "You NEED a PASS!" I loved when the kid figured out how to train the water fountain, and then popped his collar. hahaha

But a sad commercial, nonetheless.

Speaking of McDonald's..I think this is the funniest ad I've ever seen of theirs.
I hope the seamonster can cope with a few calories more :D Indeed a very funny commercial.

Do you already know this one?

Walter, I have your dog.
I don't think it's an 80s commercial, sorry, but I love the Kaffee
 commercials nonetheless. :p

I'm gonna staple his @ss shut!
Ahh, the 80's. The music, movies, clothes, and attitude were the best.
