Just thought I'd update you all so far. Went to my wholesalers today. Bought a ten feet high LED outdoor blue bulbed tree. Also bought another LED reindeer to add to the others. A load more blue icicle effect lights and some clear bulb LED trailers. About $300 worth. I've bought my Xmas DVDs down ready. Oh, and my wife agreed to let me put some Christmas lights up around the decking in the backyard. So I did. They look cool. Won't be long now folks. What have you done so far? What's your plans?

As far as Christmas lights,Kennyman puts them up all over the inside and outside of the house. We have two Christmas trees in the living room, one big,one small. We love the old fashion big bulbs on our tree. Then it takes me several hours to put up the Christmas village,I painted myself.Yeah, hahaha I also find painting relaxes me.I love painting and making tedious things. That's what I'm good at.I used a 0.01 brush to paint my village. My toy store in the village, has a tiny train, teddy bear, and drum in the window. It took me months to paint the village...The kids love it.Kennyman's favorite part is the dog peeing on the fire hydrent. :D

OH my God you just HAVE to show us a picture of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking that last night.I will try to put a picture of my Christmas village on here, but I don't put it up until the last week of November. So it would be December, when I would post it.I might have to post more than one picture,so you can see the differnt angles.Plus the church and the park w/the frozen pond.I have to have together on the next self of my entertainment center. There's a lot to the village.I have raccone's in the trash cans behind one of the houses.I have people in the village, that my kids painted when they were little.Their not neatly painted, but dear to my heart. My favorite part is the church.I have tiny Christmas lights on the church that work, and a mini fiber optic tree by the church. The main reson,I LOVE the church though is...I'm Ordained as a Non-Denominational Independent Clergy.Oh,I almost forgot,I also have mini light up sreet lights and street lamps. :D

"shut up an paint your g'damn village" LOL

SOUNDS COOL!!!! Aw...dog peeing on the fire hydrant reminds me of the RUSH 'SIGNALS' album lol

I went to our wholesalers a while back and bought a ten foot high blue LED outdoor tree and....bought... yet another reindeer....(that's a shame)

I have also actually put some Christmas lights up around my decking area.

I just bought some replacement clear light garland for my privacy fence. My other stuff was starting to crap out last year so I found some really nice commercial grade that really looks great, can't wait to put it up.
I usually start putting stuff up on Thanksgiving Day (last Thursday in November for you folks on the other side of the pond who didn't know) or the day after.

Keep us updated Art and the rest of ya'll Christmas nuts, we will have to put up some pictures of our decorations this year. I'm excited!

Cool Dr.KFP,We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving, and spend the day eating leftovers.Leftovers are the best part of the Holidays. :D

A lot of folks dread the left overs from Thanksgiving but it is one of my favorites.

We are getting a real tree this year, I hope it is not full of spiders like the one my sister got a few years back. They brought it home and the warm temperatures inside made them active and they were all over her house. It was very funny.

We used to get live trees every year.I love the smell even though I'm allergic to them. When we would bring the live tree home I would get a sinus cold for a week, then I would be ok.We now have a artificial tree, because our youngest daughter inherited my allergies. She is more allergic than me,poor girl looks like Niagra Falls when she is around pine. Her eyes and nose run.

As for the spider thing...I would look in the tree really good. :D
