What do you suppose Christmas on Mayfield Place would look like?

I think Mark would have Santa in a tank dressed in camo BDUs with bandoliers of bullets across his chest.

Just send us the link...

You know, a few years back someone did write a fanfic about the Burbs and it was really good. That person was an excellent writer.

All right, I'll reply to my own post then. I envision the Klopeks doing absolutely nothing. Walter, of course, would have the best decorations on the block - but he would not put them up himself. He would pay to have someone come out and put up a professional display that would be very tasteful.

Hey Mayfield, you're probably right. Art would do something really lame that would involve food.

No Mayfield, you idiot. Art would have a lot of lights strung all over his yard with no intelligible pattern at all and nothing would be coordinated - just like his clothes.

I'm guessing Ray would have a nice, normal nativity scene in his front yard. Rumsfield no doubt would have his house crawling with soldiers....toy soldiers. Art would probably have a few strings of lights tossed lazily over his folage. Ricky Butler would most likely start to decorate his porch but never finish it; instead would sit there with his girlfriend and gaze over everyone else's decorations, declaring his love for this holiday.

"God...I love christmas!"

I constantly imagine Art trying to fix some kind of strings of lights on his house, losing balance and plopping into the snow (leaving a mark just like he did when he fell off the electricity pylon).

Ray, as usual, prefers the conservative approach. A few lights in the front yard, nothing special.

Rummy HAS to include some military stuff. I imagine presents wrapped in camouflage paper underneath the christmas tree.

Oh, and here's the Klopek's christmas tree:

Good take. I would agree completely

And the Klopeks' tree cracks me up.
