Christmas time is almost here!

I had the maddest Christmas ever. Was fantastic from 15th December onwards. Saw Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds live in concert (UN-R-E-A-L) then late night lantern walk through Sherwood Forest (-4 degrees, 16th December) then Rat Pack Christmas Concert...then we flew up to Edinburgh, Scotland....just every day was superb! We finally got a relaxation break on 27th December! This lasted 2 days! LOL

BUT we bought a new TV/DVD integral unit and it's in our bedroom. The first movie I watch? The Burbs. Oh yes..............

Anything else and we would have been very disappointed in you.

I'd have felt I would be letting everyone down...had to Christen the unit in the correct way. I've already lapsed into routine! Yep, every Wednesday night is Burbs night in bed with snacks.

Can you stay awake long enough to see the whole movie? Sometimes it takes me several nights to make it through a film, but I get up at 5:15 in the AM, which really makes for a long day.

Well...I get up about 8:15am. So I'm good to watch TV till 1:30ish?

I am envious. The problem here in H town is that if I wait too late to leave the traffic becomes so horrible that what would be a 30 minute trip with no traffic could take 1.5 hours. Hence the need to get up so darn early.

That's a nightmare..

How long would it take in holiday traffic?

THAT'S a shame. Do you ever feel the need to take a week off?

My workplace, in a car is - ready for this......1.3 minute's. On a bike... 7 minutes. Walking? 15 minutes.

However, looks like I may be deployed back in town centre. Which means a 20 minute bus journey. Man I hate public transport.

I am envious. I can't imagine being that close to the office. You can even go home for lunch, which would be great. Hopefully, you won't be deployed back.

Oh yeah. When Im out and about doing 'home visits' in the unmarked cop car, I always nip home lol and to the supermarkets...
