Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Seen it yesterday and it's another one I can definitely recommend. It'd rate it 7 out of 10 with a tendency to 8 / 10. Highly entertaining, good storyline, excellent CGI. I'd even call it one of the best (popcorn) movies Hollywood has released in 2014.

Anyone else seen it?

Yea I saw it about a month ago. If you're into the Apes movies, I would recommend it, but I don't think it's anything special. Good story and good CGI.

Best movie I've watched this year so far is Guardians of the Galaxy. That movie does very little wrong and just comes together really well and the soundtrack is epic.

I really want to see Guardians of the Galaxy, but I'm in a small town and they don't have it here yet. And I haven't seen Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, so I think I'll wait for it to be on video.
