Here is the scenario. You are going to be stranded on a desert island. You get 3 CDs to take with you. What are they?

That's tough. Let me have a look at my CD's...

Usually I'd take some of my self-burned CD's, but considering the originals I'd take:

1.) Huey Lewis & The News - Greatest Hits

2.) Whitesnake - 1987

3.) Doobie Brothers - The very best of

1) Rush "Hold Your Fire"
2) Nirvana "Nevermind"
3) Red Hot Chilli Peppers "Live At Slane Castle"

aw man Led Zep IV, sex pistols nevermind the bollocks and Rush "Power Windows" have to stay at home?

DANG

Oh man, The Rover is fantastic. I also like 10 Years Gone, Kashmir, Stairway, When the Levee Breaks. I think they built up to a crescendo of greatness as they left their blues roots behind and developed their music into such a diverse array of styles in their 4th, 5th and 6th CDs but declined somewhat with Presence and In Throught the Out Door. It is probably a cliche' but I would have to go with Stairway to Heaven.

I think the only decent track on Presence is Achilles? Kashmir is superb! Stairway is Holy.

Have you ever seen Heart play Zep?

They do Black Dog, Rock N Roll, Misty Mountain Hop, etc...but check this out...I really like this. Mind you, I love Heart.

This is too hard..eeeeee Can i just take my ipod? It has all my favorites, in one tiny, little box. :)

A Reuben Klopekesque "No"

Nah, sorry, your small, highly portable and versatile MP3 player has been destroyed by the salt water, but your huge, clunky CD player has somehow managed to survive and you used it as a life raft, ending up on the island but with only time to grab 3 CDs.

Ahh, the Wilson sisters - extremely talented. They do a great job on Zep covers and have an outstanding repertoir of their own
