Hey Fellow Burbites,

   Sorry I've been away for so long. I haven't been the best Burbs mistress. I'm going to try and come and post more often. Just been a busy digging through my neighbor's garbage and peering in their windows.

   Anyway, I've been reading your posts, and want you to know that this board is here to stay..and even if a hideous, raging inferno does happen to burn runboard.com to the ground..we'll rebuild! I don't see it happening. I am racking my brain trying to think of ways to get the board active. I'm probably going to have Rummy tear off this old wallpaper for me, and re-decorate.

I was also considering buying a domain name. That way we're more official. I'm looking into prices. Looks like it will run maybe $10/yr. Not too bad. Anyway, if I do, decide to do that, I would appreciate all your suggestions for a name.

EXAMPLE:

WWW.burbscommunity.com(Probably the best)

If you have any better ideas, please let me know!

I think thats a great idea Bonnie. some others to consider "welovetheburbs.com" or "weareburbanites.com". But burbscommunity sounds perfect.

Affirmative, good idea. Is it really that easy to just copy and paste the threads to the new board or do we have to start from zero?

I think the proposals for the name are all very good. I can't think of different names...hmmmm
