What's your favorite scene from the entire movie? Hard to choose, I know, there are so many great scenes to choose from in this film.

Mine would have to be where they finally meet the Klopeks, from when Carol knocks on the door, to when they leave because they found Art 'trespassing' lol. It used to be Ray's nightmare when I was younger. I loved when the chainsaw came through the wall, haha.

I love the whole opening scene. From zooming in on Mayfield Place over the part when the cheery music begins and we see the paperboy, Ricky's housepainting and Rumsfield coming out of the door to "War Machine", to Mark stepping into Queenies poo. Basically the whole beginning (approximately until we first see Art).

It's really hard to choose just one but If i have to then it would have to be the scence where they all gather at night to snoop around :)

Love the whole feeling in that scene. But there are many more, depending on how i feel.

There are simply TOO many EPIC scenes in this movie, but I'm with Ray on the Opening Scene being the main mood-setter.

Second comes the scene when they ask Ray to come out and play, where Carrie ...err...Carol tells them that he can't come out until he resemble the man she married, and when Art replies - we don't have that kind of time. Epic!

I also love those little antics of Ricky when he bursts out "I love that dude, God! I love this street", he has this childish naive...behavior...as if his entire life is just a movie he's watching.

Rumsfield is one of my favorite characters, simply because he likes an adventure and cool military gadgets - I'm probably a halfbreed of Rumsfield and Peterson. :)

Btw. welcome to the forum and the street.

Arg! There are so many great scenes it's hard to tell, but when I first saw it with Brad, what had us giggling the most was when Ray is eating the Pretzel Sardine snack and the look on his face. It was magical!

I don't have one favorite scene because it's that great a movie, everything was just so perfectly put together, but if I had to choose just ONE scene and have it be the snippet of what I would show others to get them to watch the movie for people who'd never seen it before, I'd choose the scene where Rumsfield falls off the roof, shoots the car window and Ricky and his friends next door applauding him.

But I must add this; when the scene comes up with Landru coming out of the basement and Rumsfield says in surprise at the size of the dog "You keep a horse in the basement?!" I laugh everytime! It's also the way he says it. Golden! Thus why I chose the username that I did! That was such a great line for what they saw at that moment! It's something I would have asked...:P

I like the scene right when the movies begins until the final credit rolls. The BEST!

Okay... I change my mind, that's MY favorite too! Lol! ;)

I'm with Ray's Yard, I like it from beginning to end!

But if I had to choose it would be a tough one between the beginning where they are enjoying the morning talking about them halfcock theories, the bees, the horror stories about Skip killing his family with an ice pick, to the snooping with Mark's night vision lens.

Ohhhh and the garbies getting mad at Art and Mark.....HILARIOUS!!!

This is hard. Its difficult to choose. Prob if pressed when Ray come out of the house in a daze not knowing of he was dead or alive after the house blows up... Classic.
