I never thought of the Hydrocephalic drunk guy as Jason Vorhees, but I love it!
I did see a TON of references to other movies though, including The Gate!!
I'll list some:
The Sentinel - Ricky Butler outright says it.
The Exorcist - On Ray's TV
Texas Chainsaw Massacre - ray's TV
A Nightmare on Elm St - Skip's Murder's take place on Elm St.
Ghostbusters 2 - Ray's Occult Books & 'The Theory & Practice Of Demonology" book that Ray & Art are reading in the basement. Although this is probably a coincidence.
The Gate - "Leaving the Gate Open" (Another Ricky Butler reference) as he makes the comparison to The Sentinel.
Also, in Ray's dream, everyone is wearing those "Eyes Wide Shut Robes"
Does anyone know of a movie that has robes like that?
The reference to "Rear Window" by Alfred Hitchcock, that is mentioned in the Behind the Scenes featurette...
I'm sure I'm missing some others... lol
