German songs I like

I got so many German songs and that's one of them!

"Denn sind wir Helden, fur immer und immer..."

I first heard that version in an excellent German film called Christiane F. (Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo)

I've never seen it, but I love David Bowie and I have the English, German and French versions of that song! They're in decent sound quality. The French one being a little more rare it's a bit less clear than the other two.

I hadn't seen 'Labyrinth' until like 2003 and it just confirmed my affection for David Bowie. I love soundtracks and Labyrinth is just awesome!

Alright, so we have some people here with a certain relatedness to Germany, that's good to know.

If you're planning to go to Nuremberg one day, I recommend going there in November/December and visiting the Nuremberg Christmas market (Nürnberger Christkindlesmarkt).

I spent three years in Germany (Spangdahlem) when I was younger. Beautiful country.

I know very little German, just a few phrases.

Those photos are beautiful. I have some old photos of that very same part of the city from when my Mum went back there for vacation.
