Glad I found this board. I live in a similar type 'burb as Hinkley Hills. Does anyone else watch the classics according to the season? As an example here is when I watch the following: Bad News Bears- April (opening day), Caddyshack-Father's Day (US Open), Meatballs- Memorial Day, Animal House (Sept, begining of school yr). I usually watch the 'Burbs in June.
I know it's long winded, but I see If someone created this great site. There most be more of us.
Thanks

I watch the burbs all year round, but I watch The Great Outdoors in January, and Rear Window in Summer. Also watch Close Encounters in Summer.

I don't think I follow the seasons with the classics ... but I used to watch "Dunston Checks In" a lot during one summer when I was a kid. So sometimes if I want to feel like I'm on summer vacation, I will watch that.

I also watch The Burbs all year round but for some reason I prefer it during the summer months (June, July).

no particular time of the season for Burbs views for me...anytime is a good time. Although, I really like to watch it just before I go down to the deli for one of those beef sandwiches.

It just seems like a summer vacation movie to me. I'll try not to be a Lame-O.

It's alright to be a Lame-O ... just stay out of Ricky's yard!

We prefer pizza over the McD's

lmao!

i think i watch is equally through the year.. though summer-nights would be a perfect time.
this summer we're buying a new BBQ, so i'm hoping i can get to some bbqing at randoms hours. say breakfeast bbqing, and in the middle of the night. just to throw the neighbours off. hahaha.
