Recently I stumled across this young artist. He is the winner of the Australian pop idol show and obviously sings a lot of soul classics. His voice is great and he can do that Sam Moore, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding - stuff without any problems. Check it out:

Has anyone heard of Renee Olstead? A lovely young girl with a remarkable voice! She sing Jazz standards. When you see her you just cant belive this voices is coming from her. Plug her name into You Tube and have a listen.

Yeah, her voice is great, a very mature voice for such a young girl. Unfortunately the song itself is a little too "jazzy" for me.

I'm not a big Jazz fan either, but her voice is stunning. It's nice to see a youngster that isn't into the "POP" crap!
