Haahaha nice... verrry nice...

I haven't seen it for ages either, but here's my 'Burbs habit story. Back in my heady teenage years, I'd visit my uncle's farm every summer holidays, and my cousins had recorded it from TV... whenever it was just too hot to even move, day or night, many lazy hours were spent sitting under the ceiling fan eating popsicles, watching and re-watching the 'Burbs. Now it's whenever I'm in the mood to do something productive - WATCH TELEVISION.

"If I'd been on the plane, it would've crashed!"
EXCELLENT story....Im about to go and watch it myself...in bed...with a beer...cool

I'll watch it soon as well. As I have mentioned in one of my posts, watching "The Burbs" is like taking a week off to me. A couple of weeks ago I started an internship which is quite...well, let's call it exhausting.

So in order not to drown in all these tax returns, income statements and balance sheets, I need to watch this movie very soon. That's what I need, Carol, I need (whewhew) this!

Walter, I have your dog.
LOL so, the word is 'therapeutic'?

I really enjoyed watching it in bed last night. And it was really windy and pelting it down with rain last night...so at my favourite bit (the rain storm) it was like surround sound lol

You are right, "The Burbs" is my medicine (and it has virtually no adverse reactions).

For today and tomorrow the weather forecast announced heavy storm and rain for Germany, too. This means: soon it's time for my medicine.

Walter, I have your dog.
Hmmm like myself, Ray, you have a severe case of Burbitis (wikipaedia: Burbitis: Inflamation of the Burb receptors)

*writes on pad and looks over the top of glasses* I won't recommend weaning you off at this stage as I feel it would be detrimental to your overall health. Indeed, I advise you to watch the Burbs 3 times a week, building up to 4 and 5 times a week.
Come back and see me if symptoms persist *rips off prescription*

"...we should sue them..."
LOL.

"Doc, you can tell me the truth. I know Burbitis is incurable."

Walter, I have your dog.
I didn't like to say...and remember to come back to me if you get that...thing...in your stomach again...

"...we should sue them..."
