There are loads of references to hair in this movie

"I just can't seem to do anything with my hair"

"So the Klopeks went back...and got the hair"

"I really do love what you've done with your hair"

And of course "Whattaya got in the cellar 'HAIR' Klopek!"

anyone think of any more?

Maybe Joe Dante was giving clues that he himself wears a wig...haha

Wasn't that "Herr Klopek"?

In Germany "Herr" means something like "mister", so I always thought, he uses the German word "Herr".

It's a play on the word Ray. I know. Check out Rummy - he looks deliberately at Werner's hair when he says it.

Arts right. Rummy does look directly at Werners scalp when he says it.

However, I have always wondered why Rummy would think Werner kept hair in his basement.
At that point, they didn't know the Klopeks had Walters hair. Any thoughts?
