That was an awesome clip, it looks like he had fond memories of the film. Like everybody else, I'd like to see him speak of the movie in greater detail.
I think Tom Hanks likes the film. In a interview with Joe Dante he said that the only reservations Tom had about the film was it was the first time he ever played a dad. He was worried about making the transition from younger roles to more mature "family man" roles. Dante really made it seem like Tom was great to work with and even said he didn't mind shooting the Sardine scene a couple times to get it right.
The movie BIG came out at roughly the same time and Dante said Hanks even left the set of The Burbs early one day to attend of a film screening of BIG. I feel like Hanks probably feels BIG was a bigger hit for himself and helped propel him to the huge roles he would soon receive but in all my research I've done I have never seen anything negative about it. Dante also said Hanks and Carrie Fisher really hit it off and had a great time working together.
Whenever I see Hanks interviewed I never seen anyone ask about The Burbs. I would love to see him sit down and do a brief interview about the filming process and him talking about the movie. Pretty sure he enjoys the movie. The man has just had so much success he doesn't pay attention to the cult following the movie has received. I'm sure as he gets older and less mainstream roles come his way he will have some time to sit down and talk more about his older movies including The Burbs.

Oh but there were some guys asking him questions about The Burbs and he briefly talked about it in several youtube clips I saw. There is an interview someone did with him concerning "Saving Mr. Banks" (which is a great movie in my opinion) and they were briefly talking about The Burbs. Tom showed appreciation for the movie and seemed to have fond memories of it.

It's agonizing hearing Tom talk about The Burbs. It's great, but I just want him to be asked about 50 questions and hear him talk about it for 30 minutes! But it's always just a few seconds...
