Hello fellow Burbs fans. I'm a long time lurker of the site (sounds creepy) but have just recently joined. My name is Stephen and I'm from Canada. I started watching The Burbs a few years back once a year on Burbs Day after reading about it on IMDB but the past 2 years I've started to watch it multiple times a year. I've think I caught The Burbs bug from reading this site on a regular basis and meeting Joe Dante recently. I originally watched the movie when it first came out on VHS and liked it but it was during my second viewing that I started to really appreciate the viewing. Bruce's Mark character is one of my all time fav's. Is it just me or did the cast just look like they were having a blast making the film.

And yes, the cast did look like they were having a great time. Since they shot the movie in sequence, they were given a lot of room to mess around and improvise, so I think that's part of why they look so into it.

Yes, to me it also felt like they were having lots of fun. Although I'm no actor and my acting talents are almost non-existent, I would have also loved to be part of that movie and play one of the neighbours.
