Just watched the alternative ending of the 'Burbs and I most say I feel sad for Hans.

When the inspector asks him when he's born he doesn't know and the poor guy doesn't know much about where he stands or where hes believes stand.

It got me thinking, could it be that Hans mother was kidnapped by the Klopeks, while pregnant, and just managed to give birth to him before she got murdered by the Klopeks.

Hans doesn't look anything like the doctor or uncle Ruben. So I don't know how you see this by I actually feel sad for him (for the first time ever). When Bonnie touches him he gets scared, poor guy isn't in touch with reality, he's just being used by the Klopeks...

What's your take on this?

Very interesting thought that actually never came to my mind before. Are there any hints that he could be a family member?

Reube says, "It's just me, the kid and my brother the docter" so this is not a hint that he could be a "real" family member. On the other hand he says "We're a small family" but this could be because they pretend to be a family.

Does Hans ever call Reube or Werner "uncle"? But even if he did, this could be part of the hoax as well.

I guess this is a good theory, thanks Mr Peterson!

Question 2:
Uncle Ruben is an intense guy, almost on the verge of exploding. But when Rumsfield ask Hans "So it's only you and uncle living here?" you can tell that Uncle Ruben gets really soft spoken, it's almost like his out of character for a second or so, how come?

Sorry posted in the wrong place...

Once they get in here (*points to your head*), it's over pal!

Damn I have to go to the religious supply store and get me a couple gallons of holy water, doesn't Art have a cousin that works as a priest? Maybe he could get me a good deal?

*crunch* Maybe

(That's also an allusion to The Burbs as you might have already figured out)
