Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (and its healing powers)

Like with the next batch of Star Wars movies after the first three, there was a lot of expectation. Perhaps too much? Nothing can ever live up to the standards of what you expect to see.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars films. Let the bashing begin!

None at all? wow *puts hand to mouth*

People can't believe it when I say I've never seen Harry Potter (any), Lord of the Rings (any) or Grease.

I get looked at like I'm Frankenstein.

If I relied on critics I would never have watched the Burbs. Elitists!!

It is hard to believe you haven't seen any of the Star Wars, although it doesn't make you subversive, well, slightly so. ;)

Grease isn't bad but not close to a favorite and Grease 2 was terrible.

I am with you concerning Harry Potter and Grease. But the "Lord of the Rings" Trilogy is really worth a watch, even if you're not a fantasy fan or Tolkien fan. I've never read the book before, like many of my friends did and was the ultimate rookie when I went to the cinema with them. Nonetheless it was a great experience. Epic.

Unless you are totally against fantasy, you should read the Lord of the Rings. It stands up as a wonderful piece of literature.
