So, you're wearing civil clothes while you're doing your job?
 
They're fairly civil...for a civilian :)

Jeans...trainers (sneakers?) and hooded tops, etc...we have to fit-in...otherwise it looks obvious when we pull up in an unmarked police car for home visits, then get out wearing suits in 'undesireable areas'.
 
You would have to dress that way for your safety.Your safty should come first!

OK, that makes sense.

So, when you're walking around in "undesireable areas", you're not wearing a gun at all? Are you armed in another way (pepper spray, stun gun)?

They seem to be sufficient so far.

Nonetheless it could be helpful to get you a gun in order to pop a few of these big bastards if it becomes necessary.
 
It is an idea,those B*#st^@ds are to big for the bird feeders... :D
