Klopek? What is that Slavic?

I'm Polish and this surname is very popular in Poland, especially where there is big German community.
 
Thanks for sharing that information, is it possible that the Klopeks are Germans from Poland?
 
I bet if they were living in Germany, and doing what they did to innocent people like what the did to the Knapps.

Sooooooo they ran off to Poland to escape being punished.....their reign of terror ended in Germany when Hitler died BUT couldn't stop their addiction to murdering people.

So they came over here to the USA and started knocking off people in the many neighborhoods they have lived in.

That's my theory and to hide evidence, they burn their houses to the ground "hideous, raging, inferno"

Reuben's adamant response to Rumsfield's question suggesting the Klopeks are Slavic is another good hint to the Klopek's having Nazi origins. The Nazis were very anti-Slav, considering them to be sub-human.

Perhaps Klopek is a made up name *in-universe,* made up by the family to hide their origins.

After all, Mengele lived on for years in South America under the name "Hollmann," and other lesser known Nazi figures have been found living in the US as recently as 2013.
 
That's a great point, and welcome to the neighborhood.

It would make sense if they are Nazis, but I much prefer the mystery of their origin.
 
So the Klopeks are Nazis and they offered up the Knapps as some kind of sacrifice, is that it?
