so........let me get this straight...Ray only had a couple of conversations with the Knapps...but his father in law did odd jobs for them....that's a theory...

 
I bet he installed the Klopeks furnace also!

I figured a man's furnace is his business.

Why was Dr Klopek so keen on getting that one skull back, in the ambulance with Ray?.... These well respected pathologists...they get awfully attached...to their skulls
 
Maybe it was the crystal skull that Indiana Jones is after..
