funny you should mention lego, i actually considered making mayfield place in 3d lego a few days ago, being i had made some 3dsmax helper tools for assembling lego back when i tried to recreate all the lego sets i wanted as a kid but never got to have.

But then I saw this project and your first renders and decided a more realistic approach seems better.

Being somebody who has absolutely no clue about creating 3D models like that I think this is indeed very impressive.

Imagine if we could put all houses together, if we could get that Klopeks house, combined with my Rays home, and your Selznick house, we'd be in business :)

 
Yeah hopefully barkelow sees this thread and submits his klopek house. What common formats can your 3d software handle? fbx or collada maybe?

Hey jo0ngle, is the details on your chimney polygons or is it a bump or normal map? How about the shingles on the roof?
