My gf and I got the keys to our apartment a couple of days ago. As I was going in to the building a man who was standing outside said "I don't recognize you". Polite as I am I introduced myself and said "Hello Mr, I'm your new neighbor...".

He asked me if we where the ones who lived under him and I said yes and offered him to take a look at our place. At first he was hesitant but he finally decided to take a look.

He took a look at our place, which was a total mess because of the ongoing renovation. I told him that I was going to invite him and his family after we had the place finished and at that exact moment he said "Thanks but we keep pretty much to ourself".

It felt like something taken out of the Burbs. Maybe I'm looking to much into this but I could clearly see that something was off. Gravediggers? Maybe, Psycho? Maybes? Nocturnal feeders? Who knows...

The lesson it thought me is that you don't have to live in a cul-de-sac to be a "Klopek". After things settles down I have some snooping around to do. The basement of our building is huge, I'm sure I can find something...

Hahahahaha....excellent.

Maybe you should send for the pizza dude, and we'll all have a party. Hepcats! :)

My neighbor across the street just told me today that she couldn't reach me on the phone for the last 14 days, turns out that she called the wrong number - she looked into the phone book and called my landline number (which I don't use...as it's just for my Internet connection...LAWL)

Old lady...

...but at least now all of our houses are filled up with people. The Burbs indeed...

Party on, just connected a 266 mhz laptop that's 14 years old, and slimmer than 1 cm. to the downstairs stereo with a flash-card wireless adapter, blazing W's of Digitally Imported techno all over the building...YEAH! Pizzadude!!!!!

(yes, I had a few hundred beers or so...)

JoOngle sure knows how to throw a party :D

Maybe they're fishermen?

You're going down that basement and you're not coming back until you find a dead body (*slaps Pathologist's shoulder*).

What are we going to do now, soldiers?

Haha lol!

I heard them mentioning something about going away in the morning, I'll wait on first light and then I'll start snooping around.

That's really creepy! I'd keep my eye on that guy. Did he have a brother and nephew living with him?

As far as I know it's only him, his wife and his two sons (I've only seen one of them). I have some snooping around to do. I'll keep you guys informed...

Maybe they just like to keep to themselves. How many conversations did you have with the last family that live there...
