erm...well, it's an eye opener, especially for me - I have never ever touched hot drinks. I drink beer/cider at night, and Pepsi Max, Coke Zero, Diet Pepsi, Diet Coke during the day. I get through a lot of that diet sh*t. And it's all crammed with aspartame.

But it's in so much as well. Equal, Nutrasweet etc. You'd like the government cover up Ray P. How they blocked the real results of aspartame tests on animals etc.

So to sum it up....Aspartame is not good, Aspartame is not our friend?

Are you gonna change your drinking behaviour after watching the documentary?

1) Aspartame has 3 constituent chemical parts. One is pure poison.

2) Good question. I have tried. I drink about 4-6 cans of diet soda a day. I tried without for a few days and felt different it has to be said. Whether that was placebo effect, self fulfilling prophecy, I don't know. Aside from diet cokes and pepsis I dont use too much aspartame. But Im certainly more aware. Im finding when Im out shopping now if I see phenylalaline or aspartame I will go for something else.

But what I don't get is: every country has some kind of control agency which controls the quality of food and its ingredients. Why did Aspartame pass those tests? Why isn't there a lobby of doctors which says: Prevent this poison?

All explained in the docu. It was a massive cover up. Think of the money...

People get ill through side effects? COOL! Double whammy! They then buy drugs from the aspartame manufacturer....'sweet' indeed!

It seems these things are always centered around money. Thats a shame..

But it must have been a cover up which includes ALL health agencies and control institutes around the world!

Some of them have to be independent. Are they all working together?

You know here in Germany they control every fart upon its quality (which is good, I mean we have the cleanest faucet water in the world) but on the other hand they just pass aspartame?

And to come back to the original "Movies you recently saw" topic: I saw "Star Trek" on Wednesday.

Yihaaaaaaa, that was cool. It's not the classic Trek anymore, they turned it into some Sci-Fi-Action-Soap-Comedy but in my opinion it worked. It's entertaining and it could revive the franchise.

I've seen all "Next Generation" and "Deep Space Nine" episodes and watched many "Voyager" episodes. I wouldn't call me a Trekker but I am a Star Trek fan, yes. And as a Star Trek fan I say: take it for what it is. Forget the Roddenberry Trek, it's not there anymore. Exploration, Diplomacy, leave this to Picard & Co. Action, entertainment and fun is, what the new Trek is all about.

That's cool RayP.I can't wait to watch the Star Trek movie.I just recenly found a website for Trek fans.It's William Shatner's,and it's called Trekspace.It's cool,I joined. :D

Ah, something like "Myspace" for Trekkers, a Star Trek community, that's cool. Good to know that there are still some Star Trek fans out there. :D

So RP, what is your rating of Star Trek? I'm suspecting a 7 or 8 at least..
