Folks, while I'm writing this I'm nervously giggling and my eyes are filled with tears of joy. Why you ask? I'll tell you why.

Someone did it. Someone made an inofficial Special Edition of the Burbs for the 20th anniversary. The following link will provide you with information we have always been dreaming of.

Interviews about "The Burbs" and its making with Joe Dante, Dana Olsen, Courtney Gaines and more. Dana Olsen exclusively reads an excerpt from an alternate ending. A featurette is discussing the various movie references in "The Burbs". NO, I'M NOT KIDDING!

I can't believe it, it's like a dream finally come true.

Whoever these guys are, let's make sure we really thank them, OK?

Here's the link:

OH MY LORD! In all the years I've been waiting for something new, since 1997 really, this is great!

Amazing. Absolutely amazing!!!

I'm not able to read the link at work ... but this is definitely exciting. I've been holding off on buying a DVD copy (my VHS is on its last static-filled legs) in hopes of this type of release

Great News!!

I was looking for a DVD copy the same as Knapp Sack, this is perfect.

Totally awesome! I could not be any happier right now!

As soon as we find the time to listen to the clips with full attention, we may discuss them here. From what I've heard so far, there are many background information, especially from Olsen and Dante, we didn't know so far. Maybe Dante will even explain us the green lights?

That's great, over.
