OK, so we all know the Burbs is one of the most underrated movies ever. What is your vote on overrated movies?

Mine would be, hands down, Titanic. So many academy awards and so much box office hype, but does anyone even mention it anymore?

Sorry, it was likely a chick flick and the ladies will no doubt be upset with me so chime in on other overrated movies.

titanic.. *pukes* lol sorry. i dont find either of the leading stars remotely good looking.. and most of the stuff in the movie is so lame ! *cringe*

hmm overrated movies, i have to think about this one for a while, LOL

Pirates of the Caribbean. The first one was enjoyable, sure, but I just didn't get all the hype associated with it. It was only "ok" at best and probably not one I'd need to see twice. The next two about put me to sleep.

Oh my goodness yes.. I loved the first one...but look what they did to the next sequels?

*SPOILER*

I mean, they killed off Johnny Depp's character! You can't kill Johnny...and that b***h Elizabeth AKA anorexic Keira Knightly, did the dirty deed. haha sorry, still makes me upset when I think about it....even though it's just a movie.

Ok..another over-rated movie...The Notebook..the lead actor is ugly as sin, and those two weren't it love. All they did was bang each other in every other seen. You call that LOVE? More like lust. That's the problem I have with so many movies. They confuse love and lust all the time. Isn't it funny how they have the same number of letters though.

Oh and I didn't like titanic either...and that awful Celine Dion song...
but I did find this music video someone made. Well made, and almost a bit sad. But of course the song is R.E.M.'s Everybody hurts.(I ♥ that song)

I totally agree with Pirates. The first one was good and it went rapidly downhill from there. The third was very forgettable. In fact I think I did fall asleep for about 30 mintes and doubt I missed anything of significance.

I love when you go to the movies and they show the coming attractions. Even the lousy movies look good because they take the only good parts (30 seconds worth) and that is what they show you. The remainder of the other 90 minutes stinks.

Underworld

awesome trailer. sucky movie.
at the premiere, we were 12 people who saw the movie. i was in a group of 6

and to think we had planned do dress up as vampires (from a roleplay we had back then hahaha) lmfao

Hey, not to change the subject or anything but speaking of trailers...did you notice how there's a scene in the Burbs trailer of Ray having flammatory issues with his barbecue grill that was never used in the movie? Oh yes...I know you did. I wonder how many other unused scenes are left that they didn't give us on the DVD...

No kidding!!! That barbecue scene would have been great to see. I suppose we won't ever get a better DVD than what we have now, but it would have been great to have all the deleted scenes.

I wonder if that footage is stored somewhere...or was put in the garbage and lost forever...
