Overrated Movies

don't be a weeny

I actually find a lot of hyped movies to be really awful!

WARNING!
This is some of the most radical movie opinions I have.

1. LOTR - I don't like fantasy and I did NOT like this movie for one second. I have friends that are totally into this concept but not me, not in a million years.

2. Fight Club - As someone before me mentioned, the movie was OK but not this epic kind piece of film history that people want to make out of it.

3. Casablanca - This is regarded as one of the top movies of all time, if you haven't seen it then please do and tell me what's so great about it? I'm sure it's a generation thing, but I've watched a lot of classics and found them to be great, but Casablanca ... NO WAY!

The only thing I find great about Casablanca is Ingred Bergman. Love her!

Don't get me wrong the actors where great, some of the best of their time but still the movie as interesting as watching paint dry.

I suppose that means Ricky would like it.

I've, I've never seen that. I've never seen Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca, I've never seen that.

Fight Club didn't really live up to my expectations as well, and LOTR is completely overhyped. I read the books, because mostly the books are better than the movies, but I hated them too :roar:

haha funny how i love love love fight club. but i think it's because the first time i watched it, i had no idea what i was watching. and i had heard nothing about it before. so to me it was like...wtf is this ...brilliant movie?!? i knooow its overrated, and it annoys the eff outta me. i mean, people make it out to be something that will CHANGE YOUR LIFE. uhmmm...

yeah. whatever. it did change my perspective on things a bit, but not in that kind of way, if that makes sense. it just made me think "hey... it's alright. i dont need to care so much sometimes" - just let go sometimes.

edward norton and brad pitt are fantastic together. i simply love the movie. but i dont reccomend it to anyone because i dont want randoms hyping it up and then be like. meh about it. hahaha. i usually just watch it alone. enjoying the "grime"factor of that house. i like that stuff.
