Yeah things are so SH*T here. Messed up. I know so many professionals who are out of here. New Zealand, France, Canada, Belgium. Anywhere. The working, law-abiding, home owner, has very few rights. And the Britain I knew when I was a kid, is disappearing extremely fast. There is no British identity anymore. If we fly the English flag we're racist. The government have even looked to ban Christmas...as it may be offensive to Muslims. Incidentally, we now have Eid and Diwali celebrations here........
Anyway There was a guy called 'Toni Martin' in his late 50s. He lived alone on a derelict farm and had been burgled many times. His place was in the middle of nowhere. He was burgled by two gutless turds in the middle of the night. Martin opened fire in the dark (in a state of panic as a torch was shone in his face) with his shotgun. Cut a long story short, one piece of crap died (boo-hoo) the other was injured. Martin got custody, the burglar Faeron (don't even get me started) got compensated.
Seriously dudes, things are so messed up here. Criminals are protected. There is no punishment. Victims are forgotten. Our taxes are hysterical. Heating bills astronomic. Petrol prices...dont wanna go there... And our taxes are going to fund the benefits that Polish and millions of other immigrant workers are sending home.
At least here in Texas, if someone breaks into your house and you shoot them, you will generally get no-billed by a grand jury. Some states demand you retreat, which is a load of crap. I know the argument I heard put forth in the British case says that even someone who breaks into your house still maintains some rights, but in my opinion he forfeits those rights the moment he breaks into my house. I would hate to shoot someone but rather them than me.
There's a massive discrepency between the liberal, do-gooding judges here and what the police want. Some Senior Police Chiefs (ACPOs) have said the homeowner should not be given "reasonable force" to get rid of an intruder. It should be "any force necessary to defend". Of course, the bleeding heart extreme lefty liberals are like "Aw...but that means people will be killed".... yyyyyyyyeap...And I'll feel the world get lighter. Of course....they won't be killed if they don't go into someone else's house to steal all their stuff.....

I understand totally. You guys are slowly losing your country, but I think all of western civilization is sliding down the same slope. I think we have passed our high water mark. We have the ongoing arguments regarding immigration and unsecured borders, jobs going overseas. I worry about the loss of manufacturing jobs and the decline of the middle class here as a result.

Do you know at Christmas our Government's head so-called 'Think-Tank' actually met to decide if they could abolish Christmas as it 'may cause offence' to other faiths? Okay two very major points here. 1) They will NEVER abolish Christmas. Just check out the amount of lights and stuff around here from October onwards. Ain't gunna happen. Unless they want a revolution. 2) This is a very major point. The Muslims and Hindus here have NO quarrel whatsoever with us enjoying Christmas!!!! They're like "Go for it dudes, we have our stuff you celebrate yours" there is NO problem at all. The PROBLEM is white middle class do-gooder, liberals in Whitehall. They haven't even consulted any other religions. These stupid, prix create tensions where there aren't any at all. Okay, the guy who owns a nearby shop to me? He's Asian. He's cool. In his late 40s. Really nice guy. Family man. Nice wife, smart, hard working, pleasant. He asks me just before Christmas "Hey Chris...when am I supposed to put my lights up for Christmas - seems to get earlier!" I said "Well....you do it whenever you want mate. Personally, mine are up. I put 'em up December 10th and they go down on January 3rd. He said "Ah when we were little kids we were so excited at Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Now. I have to say this was a real wake up call. This genuinely nice family guy, working, older than me, has always enjoyed Christmas. Now again...I refer you to those f***** a holes in government creating division, exclusion and ill-feeling.
I'm currently reading a book from a German author named Udo Ulfkotte which is called "Heiliger Krieg in Europa" (Holy War in Europe). The scenario he describes is pretty scary.
It begins with slowly undermining our society, gradually abandoning everything which is considered "not holy" in the name of Allah and finally gaining control over European governments and societies. The organisation which coordinates these activities is called "Muslimbruderschaft".
One of the members of the Muslimbruderschaft is quoted with: "In the future it's not the point of steering planes in tower buildings. It's about gaining control of those tower buildings".
The process has already begun. Ulfkotte says, there is a secret strategy paper which reveals that they plan to have quashed Europe by the year 2020.
From some of what I read, that may be true. What is the percent of Muslims in Germany? You have a lot of Turks there, don't you? I know a lot of nice people who are Muslims, but it just takes a few to upset the apple cart. If they are violent, then the peaceful ones will not dare interfere because of the threat of violence.
I had a further one this week dudes. Strap-in for this one. I was calling the prison about one of my offenders who's been transferred. As per the usual process they ask for details. The conversation went thusly:
Him: "Do you have a prison number?" Me *Gives number* Him "Do you have a date of birth?" Me *Gives date of birth* Him "Do you have a surname?" Me *Gives surname* Him "Do you have a Christi-...sorry sir, do you have a first name?" Me "...why did you stop halfway through asking for a Christian name?" Him "We've been told we can't use the term Christian name anymore. It might offend someone" Me "You're kidding me" Him "No...unbelieveable isn't it?" Me "This country is doomed"

in elementary schools in Norway, it's a tradition to go to church around christmas-times, and listen to .. i dunno, i cant remember. but it's like an hour in church with some songs and the priest reading some stuffs etc. it's actually kinda cosy, cause a lot of students are gathered and we just sit there, listening - and it's not like the priest is rambling on about OMG JOIN US!11.
anyway, it's been like this ...like forever - and now they're thinking of having this tradition removed, cause "someone might be offended, if they are from another religion"..
W.T.F?? i cant remember hearing about anyone from another religion wanting this removed (but there are probably some) i know the extreme people, like jehovas's witnesses, they will have their kids sent home or have them stay at the school or something. I cant see why this is a problem? If muslims or whatever religon (or lack of, for that matter) dont want their kids in the church, then let them go home or stay at the school for an hour.. watching a movie or drawing or WHATEVER. (usually, the church-visit is around 11 am and the students get to go home after it anyway).
and if this wont do, then WHY is it so bad to sit in a church? OMG jeeesuuuuus!! ARGH. Is it so BAD to learn about other cultures and religons? will it KILL them? Sorry, I dont mean to offend anyone, but i'm under the belief that if you come to a country, you should atleast bother to accept our cultures, and leave the laws of your old country behind. (not that all of them are foreign. like jehovas, most of them are from this country,...but still. if i was in as school where i had to sit through whatever seremony the jehovas have.. i'd sit and patiently wait for it to finish. as long as they dont force me to convert, it's nothing else than just sitting there.)
If foreigners wont behave, we have no use for them.. send them back! i dont want foreigners to fill up OUR jails! use time and money from our country on their trials and whatnot.
If I had nowhere to go, and I needed to flee my country, and I was lucky enough to be accepted in another country, I'd be on my BEST behaviour. I'd try my best to embrace their culture and laws. I wouldn't demand to have them remove traditions cause i didn't approve.. LOL.

anyway, sorry for the rambling.. i got carried away, LOL. I bet it's just our government that's afraid of offending anyone, and that's why they want to remove the tradition.. cause they're afraid of a little arguing. *rolls eyes*
