Ray P. I didn't know about the president/chancellor system in Germany.Now I am learning.
And I agree, it seems Angela Merkel is doing a great job...
At least for 3 weeks a month. LOL Sorry, it was a JOKE!

No need to say you're sorry, I'm no Merkel fan or something like that. In fact I have a very distant relationship to politicians in general. Somehow they're all "one kind". So for being a politician, Merkel's results have been alright so far. The economic crisis might change this very soon since Germany is totally hit by that crisis.

OK RP,lets say for example,Merkel was doing a lousy job.Would it be difficult for you to critisize because she's a female?
Hey Art, how did you feel when Margret Thacher was in charge over there?

No, I don't think it would be difficult to critisize her just because she's a woman. The critics would certainly sound less harsh but if I feel the need to critisize something I'll do it, no matter if it concerns men or women.

It's not a matter of IF you do it but HOW you do it.

Margaret Thatcher? She was an evil wh*re who wanted sacrificing to the devil. I guess that's more or less how I felt about that b*tch.

:)

At least, though, she was a leader who knew her own mind, I'll say that for the old hag. And she did have 'charisma'. Not likeable, but had leadership skills. The sh*t we've had with Blair and Brown, we really deserve a break.

The way I understood it, Blair was pretty much forced out..I know very little about this Brown guy. Is he your current leader? And what about Prince Charles? Does he have any political powers?
