I always find it interesting when people post on forums saying they hate an entire country because of...whatever. I'm British and there's an awful lot I hate about this place. I dare say if I looked I'd find something I really liked and something I disliked about any country. China, for example. Animal rights? Human rights for that matter! The way they treat animals over there is sickeningly despicable. The bile bears especially. And yet, some of the most amazing scenery on the planet. And I love Chinese food :)
 
I was just watching the Burbs and the Sardine/Ray scean is soo funny! The squish squish squish sounds, Rube giving him the evil eye and look on Rays face when he eats it. HA HA HA...it's sooooo funny!
 
After Hans offerd the sardines,Ray should have asked him "Are they fresh?" haha
 
This also seems to be the scene which is most memorable for those who once watched the movie and "kind of liked it" but not became a Burbanian.

Whenever I ask people if they've seen the movie most of the time the "Sarrrrrdine?" - scene is quoted.
 
Yep, that's what I get also. They did a great job with that scene. You can even hear the pretzle clink against the bowl when Ray grabs for it.
 
There's also a lot of pretzel noises when Carol takes a pretzel too. :D
