It's kind of weird but in a funny way. Finally someone gives her acting career the credit it...uhm deserves.

Did you already reach out to Christie? I'd like to know if she was personally on set when The Burbs was shot and whether she met some of the actors as well (which iis one of the questions you already mentioned). Maybe she has some other funny comments about The Burbs no one knows yet since nobody ever asked her.
 
An incredible life she had. How many dogs can say they've been held for ransom by Tom Hanks?
 
And to close this one out (maybe?) Her final film before retiring (and ultimately passing away) was in 1992's Batman Returns as the role of Ratty Poodle.

Very awesome.. :) (Plus, I can see a crossover between The ’Burbs and The Silence of the Lambs where Ricky Butler meets Dr. Hannibal Lecter, too.)
 
Also, the little Dog (Queenie) also knlwn by her real name: Darla, was starring in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure as Dottie's dog: Pink Poodle, and can be seen together with Pee-Wee's dog, Speck in the bicycle basket at the end of the movie, on Dottie's bicycle at the drive-in movie.
 
Queenie aka Pink Poodle aka Precious aka Ratty Poodle aka Watkin's Poodle aka Fifi had an amazing career.
