The uniform he wears when he's carring the g***amn brownies will tell you the answer. I'll give you until monday to figure it out.

OK i'm still not sure. I think its time,RY,to just tell us and try another ?.

Come'on man, it's time for the big unvailing!...haha

He was in the Marines. He's wearing an US Marine Corp "Alpha" blouse complete with belt and buckle. It's traditionally worn by Marines upon checking into a new unit. However there is no insignia anywhere on the blouse. But we all know Mark was a Lt.

I have no knowledge about military ranks. Is Lt. good?

Lt. in the Marines sounds like a dangerous man who can indeed snap your neck in a heartbeat :)

Lt. is a officer, but a lower ranking officer.
A capt. would outrank him.

OK, thanks.

Still able to snap necks in a heartbeat?

Officer Ranks (not including warrent officers for the Marines)

2nd Lt
1st Lt
Captin
Major
Lieutenant Colonel
Colonel
Brigadier General (1 star)
Major General (2 Start)
Lieutenant General (3Stars)
General (4 Stars)

I don't think his rank of 2nd or 1st Lt was established in the movie.

These are officers yes? That's why there is no private, corporal, lance corporal, sergeant and sergeant major?

correct.
