Yeah they could be, could pop round and join them as there ain't been much happening since my sister dropped me back home earlier this morning

Basically, from my perspective, Ricky is pretty awesome, as well as an awesome character to write about in fanfics about the movie.

And speaking of which, I can see an AU fanfic where Ricky saves Ray’s life in stopping Werner Klopek from trying to take Ray’s skull by taking away the hypodermic needle using telekinesis, causing Werner to be surprised when he sees Ricky using his telekinesis. (One way he could tell is when he notices that Ricky’s eyes are glowing either red or orange.)

I agree, and I also think that Ricky Butler is awesome, too. :)
 
Talking about Ricky, I've watched the workprint again and noticed
a new difference.

When Ricky puts the paint cans on the stereo and pours some on his shorts you hear him say "sh!t", in the theatrical version, it was muted.
