Alright, although we have some old farts in this neighbourhood I'd like to ask: what were your favorite saturday morning cartoons? Do you still have fond memories when you think about them, like I do?

Being born in 1981 I had the privilege to grow up with 80's/early 90's cartoons, an era in which these saturday morning cartoons probably reached its peak concerning quality and entertainment.

Here's a great vid with cartoon themes of awesome 80's cartoon shows:

Those were the days...

I caught on a little after that (born in 1984). My favorites were pretty much all Warner Bros.: Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Batman, Superman, Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries, Tiny Toons.

I remember watching Earthwork Jim, Freakazoid!, and Men in Black as well, but not quite as much.

I was born in 1969 so I grew up watching the toons in the 70's. I loved the Warner Brothers cartoons; Buggs Bunny, Daffy duck, Sylverster and so on. Good stuff.

I'm only 2 years ahead of you RY, so my list would be the same as yours.
And Space Jam is cool!

rembmer the bug bunny/road runner hour? That was the best.

Long live ACME.

Gotta love Wile E. Coyote. Did he ever catch the Roadrunner?

No, the Coyote never ate the Road Runner. He did, however, catch the bird in one cartoon, produced in 1980 by creator Chuck Jones. That film, Soup or Sonic, was part of a TV special called Bugs Bunny's Bustin' Out All Over. In that film the Coyote shrinks to tiny size but manages to grab the Road Runner's giant (to him) leg. Unfortunately the Coyote is like a tiny insect to the bird. He holds up a sign to the audience: "Okay wise guys, you always wanted me to catch him. Now what do I do?"

LOL, I miss that old-school humor.

By the way, here you can see the scene again:

Nowadays there's a much less innocent humor but this one's here is extremely funny in my opinion. Looks like it is from the Family Guy series and shows the Coyote's life AFTER catching the Roadrunner.

Fantastic...I always love the background rocks in those 'toons lol.

My fave character ever is a toss up between the Coyote and Muttley

I remember getting up at 6 am as a kid in the late 70s or early 80s just to watch the Sat morning cartoons. I honestly can't remember one cartoon I used to see, but it seemed to be more about the whole event of getting up early in the morning to watch TV and not have to go to school then it was about what I watched.
