Hello fellow Suburbanites,

This is my own interpretation of a 1950's advertisement for 'Skips Soda Fountain'

The Burbs is one of my favorite ever movies, so i spent a few weeks on this.

Also last year i lived my dream and went to Universal Studios Hollywood to visit the Burbs street, it was awesome (Im from the UK, im not slovak)

This is...amazing, far beyond awesome, incredible.

The work of a true Burbanite here. And that's just the way I always imagined what Skip looked like.

Yeah, one Day I want to go to the Universal Studios as well and take a look at Mayfield Place. After all these changes they made to the street, I hope it still resembles Mayfield Place, does it?

I put a lot of love and time into this, been watching the Burbs since i was a toddler, and im now 25 heh.

About the Burbs street, it still is definitely similar to the movie, but a lot of changes, i cant help but think of Desperate Housewives when you are there looking at it, i wonder what it will be used in next, seeing as Desperate Housewives is finished now. Hmmm.
