I took the day off today.

Been doing a few minor jobs around the house. Been up to the recycling place. It's a bright, fresh sunny day today. Blue skies and sunshine. And I just happened to be listening to the 33 track CD....it was cool....visualising the movie as I drove...smiling...COOL

When you were describing the sunshine and blues skies, it reminded me of a very cheesy, yet cheerful song..

Yeah, the Burbs-soundtrack always manages to make me feel good, too.

especially in morning...neighbour take warning...

I prefer it in afternoon when it's really warm....windows down...and I time it so that I pull into my cul de sac right on the strings part of the overture.

Great idea, I should try the same.

I used to hear the "Welcome to Mayfield place" - track in the morning when I left the house during the internship.

But with mostly cloudy skies and rain it didn't have the cheery effect I hoped it would have.

Ahhh yeah, I can see that...yeah...you know when the paper kid rides the bike and his spokes read COSTUME DESIGN ROSANNA NORTON well that's my fave music bit...and to time it so that you can have sunshine and open windows as you drive listening to that...that to me is cool

Yeah that "Rosanna Norton" - part is a great moment of Goldsmith music (and is covered by "Welcome to Mayfield place").

I find that this track relaxes me. Oh, pardon my glove.

I also love the end credits:

The beginning of the strings at 00:20. The change of sound to the more menacing sounding part at 00:56. The return to the harmonic part at 03:21. Great.
