China is somewhat alarming. With their population and newfound economic power they are indeed a superpower. They have always been somewhat reclusive and never much interested in things outside their immediate vicinity, but they have become a big player in Africa and like the 100 pound weakling who suddenly gets some muscle, they may wish to see just how far they can push things.
 
I saw a study the other day that if you take into consideration the environmental and health costs of their unbridled economic expansion their double digit growth of GDP drops to the same level as most western economies. They are sacrificing the health of their citizens to grow their economy and their environment.

Putin - ex KGB. He needs to chill and watch the Burbs a couple of times. If we all just watched the Burbs most social ills could be remedied.
 
Given China's appalling human and animal rights (or LACK of) record, I cannot believe they were allowed to host the Olympics. But hey....That's just my opinion.

Mayfield669SFADAN comes up with a winning idea. Maybe if Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and George W Bush watched The Burbs with Ban Ki-moon holding the remote control...

How can you be hostile toward anyone who would sit down and watch the Burbs with you?
