You'd better report back and let us know what Dante had to say/post pictures of any cosplayers. ;)

That would be worth an eleven hour drive to Kansas City.

To sit in some dank, wet cinema?

I'd start at the snack counter. Maybe they got some beer in their refrigerator.

So, RudyIsAMoron, how was it? Did Dante have any interesting anecdotes or insights? Was anyone dressed up? Were there props like in a Rocky Horror screening? Spill! We're all dying to know the details. :D

It was great. No one dressed up! Next time I'm going to be Ricky Butler or Ray in his pajamas.
There were a good amount of people. The theater is pretty big, so it was far from full, but people had a good time and laughed a lot.
Joe Dante did speak. He acknowledged that fans watch The 'Burbs habitually, and that's a mystery to everyone involved in the making of the movie.
