The 'Burbs Uncut

Has anyone seen the Burbs Uncut DVD?? I just spotted it for the first time, and I was wondering if it's worth getting...

When seeing the trailer for the movie, there were a couple of shots in there that did not turn up in the final film...so I'm curious if it's on this DVD.
 
There are no extra scenes in the uncut dvd. The term "uncut" refers to the theatrical version that couldn't be shown on TV in the UK, so it's the same dvd...just yellow.

I think that's right.
 
That sucks. I would love to see those scenes that were featured in the trailer.
 
Yeah, they still have to be somewhere. Unfortunately they did not include these scenes on the DVD. At least we can take a look at the alternate ending.
 
that alternate ending was rather poor, in my opinion.

wait, i guess that's why it didn't make the cut. :)
 
How many times have you guys seen this movie?
I've been watching it every day the past week LOL. It almost feels like it's 45 mins. long to me

Don't even ask me. I watched it religiously from 1997-2000 whilst at University at night. Each and every Sunday and Wednesday night without fail. I'd watch it about 12am to the finish. I then graduated and switched to Saturday nights. I just wish I had a pound for every watching.
